BANANA COIN MINT, FAQ

I just got here, what’s Banana Coin?

The Banana Coin is the future main currency within the Banana Kingdom game, and used will be used to trade hundreds of thousands of NFTs in our marketplace. Banana Coins can be staked for Energy Tokens before it launches on any exchange. Total circulating supply on launch will be 150-200 Billion tokens.

What are Energy Tokens?

Energy Tokens power up everything tech related; in your arsenal, and on your land (this includes powering up entire Apex Kingdoms, for you Chieftains out there). And Energy will power up the majority of items in Part 2. To earn them you only need to stake your Banana Coins.

How do I buy in?

You’ll need a wallet first (we recommend Metamask). On mobile you can download it from the app stores. On PC, head to our login page and select Metamask then “I don’t have Metamask” – from there follow the prompts to install it.

You’ll also need to add Nova to your new wallet (see the next FAQ question for instructions on how to do this).

Lastly, you’ll need Ethereum on Arbitrum Nova. To bridge things from other chains to Arbitrum Nova, convert tokens or coins to to ETH. Then head to Arbitrum’s official bridge, or the Hop Exchange. It only takes a few minutes to bridge ETH over to ETH on Nova, and costs less than $10. For advanced users who want to skip a few steps, check out the Celer Bridge where you can hop from most chains straight to Nova.

I don’t see the Arbitrum Nova chain/network in my wallet, what do I do?

To add (or see) Arbitrum Nova related things in your wallet you’ve got to add it first. For Metamask users head over to the Nova page on Chainlist and click the “Add to Metamask” button. Their app will add if for you automatically. For other wallets a simple google search of how to add a network to your wallet should suffice. Once you know how, add this info to get set up using Arbitrum Nova.

How do I stake my Banana Coins, and is there a lockup fee or a minimum lockup time period?

To stake Banana Coins just Login, then head to Staking. There are fees, and no lockup periods, stake and unstake whenever you want. Earnings update every 10 seconds.

Why are my Banana Coins and Energy tokens locked to my wallet – and when does trading begin?

Banana Tokens are locked to your wallet until the day of our public launch (when they become tradeable). In the mean time them can be staked for Energy Tokens, and used for a limited quantity of Bananatopian NFT Packs or Box Sets. The reason for this is technical, anyone who’s tokens aren’t locked before launch can make a liquidity pair on any DEX, ultimately setting the price of Banana Coins and Energy tokens themselves. Which no one wants. We’ve already set the price for public launches which you can see in the “Launch” section below.

How are funds used?

Glad you asked, head over to our Progress page where you can see an (always) up to date breakdown of development progress and funding allocations.

Banana Tokens are locked to your wallet until the day of our public launch (when $BANANA becomes tradeable). The reason for this is technical, anyone who’s tokens aren’t locked before launch can make a liquidity pair on any DEX, ultimately setting the price of Banana Coins themselves. Which no one wants. We’ve already set the price to $5 per million for public launch – which will happen when the available supply hits 0.
